Bei diesen handelt es sich um\u00a0Enhanced Voice Service (EVS), was f\u00fcr eine bessere Sprachqualit\u00e4t sorgen soll, und auch WiFi-Calling soll endlich angeboten werden. Weitere Verbesserungen gibt es im Bereich VoLTE.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Das Feature WiFi-Calling hatte ich ja bereits bei o2 <a href=\"http:\/\/tablethype.de\/o2-kein-empfang-telefonie-unter-umstaenden-trotzdem-moeglich\/\">einmal vorgestellt<\/a>. Dies macht nat\u00fcrlich besonders dort Sinn, wo man kein oder eben nur sehr schlechtes Netz hat, was es auch bei Vodafone gibt. Dies ist einer der Gr\u00fcnde, weshalb man nun diesen Dienst ins eigene Netz aufnimmt. Der Vorteil der Vodafone-L\u00f6sung: Man ben\u00f6tigt keine zus\u00e4tzliche <a href=\"http:\/\/tablethype.de\/category\/apps\/\">App<\/a>. Ob hierzu ein gebrandetes Smartphone erforderlich ist, l\u00e4sst man offen. Allerdings gibt man ein Datum bekannt, ab dem\u00a0WiFi-Calling genutzt werden kann. Dies ist im konkreten Fall der 30. Mai &#8211; mit einer Einschr\u00e4nkung. Vorerst wird die Funktion\u00a0nur in den Red Business+ Tarifen enthalten\u00a0sein. Wer einen privaten Red One Vertrag nutzt, kann den Service ebenfalls nutzen. Weitere Kombinationen sollen im Laufe des Jahres aber noch folgen, erkl\u00e4rt Vodafone.<\/p>\n<h2>Enhanced Voice Service und VoLTE<\/h2>\n<p>Weitere Verbesserungen gibt es bei Voice over LTE, welches ab Sommer auch endlich netz\u00fcbergreifend\u00a0funktionieren soll. Dazu gibt es ab sofort die Freizeichent\u00f6ne und Mailbox-Nachrichten in HiFi-Qualit\u00e4t. Der EVS soll wiederum f\u00fcr eine verbesserte Sprachqualit\u00e4t im LTE-Netz sorgen. Hierzu ist es aber n\u00f6tig, die Ger\u00e4te mit einem Firmware-Update auszustatten, welches von Vodafone entsprechend verteilt wird.
